A beat lease is a non-exclusive license agreement between a music producer and an artist. The producer allows an artist to use an instrumental for profit for a fixed amount of time. Typically, non-exclusive leases are a more affordable option than exclusive agreements. Until an exclusive agreement is met between both parties, the producer retains full ownership of the recording and can allow other artists to use the recording if they choose to.

When will I receive my instrumental once I purchase?

As soon as you complete your order, you'll be emailed the download link that will allow you to download your files.

What should I do if I don't receive the download links?

If for some reason you do not receive your goods contact us with your order # and the instrumental(s) you purchased.

Do you have any sales or discounts?

Yes, we offer special sales, deals, and coupons through our newsletter.

If I purchase a beat will it be untagged?

Each beat will have one short tag at the beginning of the song. If you would like a completely untagged instrumental you'd have to consider purchasing the Trackout or Unlimited Lease plans for the instrumental. With those options, you can pick and choose what elements of the beat you don't want to include.

Do you offer refunds?

There are no refunds offered after a purchase is made since these are digital downloads.

You may receive a refund only if a duplicate purchase is made. If this happens to you, please email us at help@anteven.com or use our contact form. Please include both order numbers.

How secure is this website?

Your data is confidential and encrypted using SSL(Secure-Socket-Layer) for each session. All of your personal details are not and will not be read by a third party. Also, any payment information is never stored, kept or seen by us.

Licensing Questions

If I purchase a lease can I use it for profit?

Yes, if you purchase a lease within our store you can use the beat for profit. Some restrictions apply. Please refer to the contract of the lease you are interested in purchasing.

Can I monetize on Youtube?

Technically, we do not allow for monetization on Youtube, but we understand that artists would like to make as much money as they can on their releases. We will allow you to collect Google AdSense ONLY, if you are monetizing through your own channel.

If you plan on using a distribution service like Tunecore, Distrokid, CD Baby, etc. you are not allowed to use their content ID services under any circumstances.

Youtube's content ID service cannot tell the difference between an instrumental and a song with vocals on it. If you use those services, anteven's Youtube channel will get copyright claims as well as anyone else who's uploaded that instrumental.

We kindly ask that you follow this request. If our videos are claimed by you, you will risk getting your song taken down and removed.

Can I collect money from touring with a beat license?

Yes, you are allowed to collect revenue from any tours you choose to participate in.

Can I upgrade my beat license?

Yes, you can upgrade your license at any time for the same beat only. We'll only charge the difference in price.

How should I give producer credit?

You can put "prod. by anteven". It is appreciated if the 'a' in anteven is lowercased.

Do you offer exclusive licenses? If so, how much are they?

Exclusives are $750 and up. Pricing varies and is based on interest. Depending on what instrumental, it can be lower or higher than the above amount.

The option to purchase an exclusive license is not available until a certain criteria is met. Although we'd love to offer exclusives to everyone, we need to first confirm an artist has the proper infrastructure before they purchase. An artist must have first and foremost potential, then an active social presence, loyal fan base, decent streams per month and must plan on releasing the exclusive you're looking to purchase.
